Rashaad K. Taylor, 28, of Milford, was arrested in Pike County, on Sept. 20, according to the police.
The arrest comes following an investigation into alleged unlawful contact with minors, the Slate Belt Regional Police Department said. During the investigation, Taylor's home in Milford was searched and explicit photographs of a minor were found. Taylor's electronic devices were also searched, leading to evidence that he had solicited explicit photos from the minor, according to police. He had also sent an explicit photograph to a minor.
Taylor was extradited to Northampton County on Monday, Sept. 23, police said. He was charged with:
Felony of Possession of Child Pornography (six counts).
Felony Solicitation of Child Pornography (six counts).
Felony Criminal Use of Communication Device.
- Misdemeanor Corruption of Minors (two counts).
Taylor is being held in the Northampton County Prison on $750,000 bail, according to court documents.
